(More customer reviews)I purchased the Wahoo WFSC01 because the crank arms on my Bacchetta Corsa 700c recumbent are too far from the frame to use the Garmin sensor. The Wahoo works perfectly with my Garmin Edge 705. The speed sensor is mounted on my front fork, and the wheel magnet triggers it. (The following will mostly be of interest to recumbent riders). The cadence sensor required an easy modification of the cable connecting it to the speed sensor. I cut the cable, added an appropriate length (about 18") of 2 conductor black cable, and added a magnet to the back of the inner chainring. I soldered the connections, though crimps would work. I covered the connections with heat shrink tubing available in any electronic supply. A butane lighter will shrink it, making for a neat, water-tight extension. (Don't forget to slide the heat shrink tubing up the original wire before you make the connections!). The sensor is mounted to the frame up front, behind the crankset, and the magnet triggers the cadence sensor reliably. Although Wahoo provides zip ties, I needed a few longer ones and some extras to clean up my unusual installation.
