(More customer reviews)I am an iPhone 3GS to EVO 4G convert. I changed to get away from AT&T's huge prices and to get a change in scenery on Android. I previously was using a Tuneband for my iPhone (Tuneband for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS (not iPhone 4, see description below), Grantwood Technology's Armband, Silicone Skin, and Screen Protector, Black and LOVED it. The company only seemed to make this for Apple products so I searched for something similar for my new EVO since I use RunKeeper Pro to track my runs.
DESIGN:
The Design is pretty straight forward. It does not exactly fit the EVO, it took a lot of squeezing in there to get it to fit. Not really a problem. I was not a fan of the plastic cover on the armband to begin with, but seeing as I was limited in selection, it would have to do.
OVERALL:
I would take this on medium runs (5-8 miles)for about an hour. The phone got wet from my sweat and the plastic cover fogged over making reading the screen useless. I have stopped using the product and am now out the $25 that I spent on it.
I would not recommend this to any EVO owner as its more of a "one size fits all" approach. Maybe some other phones work better, but the condensation on the inside of an armband with a $500+ phone inside didn't sit well with me at all.
I run with the phone in my pocket and am hopeful that someone will come out with a similar design to the Tuneband that is designed for Apple products.

(More customer reviews)OK. I spent almost 90 minutes researching armbands last week and came across this one. First of all, I was NOT going to spend $ 30.00+ on an armband for my new Nano, mostly because I didn't see the advantage of spending the extra money (most people seemed indifferent to the official Ipod armband, for example.) I bought this product because it had similar specifications to the more expensive models and was like $5.00! Mine arrived today and I'm very happy with it. It fits well on my arm and there's no way that Ipod is coming loose from it's casing. That's what I care most about.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because
1. even though the unit fits the armband, it's a bit snug and it may be a bit difficult to manipulate the wheel, as the round opening sits just a tad bit high. But if you have a playlist and are working out, this shouldn't be a problem, right?
2. The small velcro strap that keeps the Ipod immobilized at the opening should be perfectly matched to the back of the strap. Otherwise the velcro is a bit itchy. If you just make sure no velcro is exposed to your skin, you'll find that this armband is very comfortable!
Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a quality, affordable option for Nano ibands!

(More customer reviews)i have used this armband for a samsung saga as well as a Blackberry Tour. both phones fit fine even though the saga is longer than the tour (it's also very thin). it was really perfect for the Saga.
i've never had a problem with it slipping off, i have no problems with it being too tight or too lose. it stays wherever i put it and i can even move it around if i need to because it stretches nicely. i have used it to go running for about 6 months now, maybe 2 or 3 times a week, so i'd say it's had many uses now and there aren't really any signs of wear and tear. i even my first marathon with it, and it was light and almost like it wasn't even there. i ordered a second one and i can't tell the difference between the two half the time even though the 2nd one is much newer and hasn't really be used. so i'd say the quality is decent. not crazy impressive, but sturdy and does the job.
one other thing, i did cut a hole in the older one since i've gotten the Blackberry Tour, and it works great with the trackball. the Tour is a little smaller so i do have to adjust it a bit to make it stay, but again, this armband does the job.

(More customer reviews)I got this for running with my Droid X2 that is enclosed in the Defender Otterbox. The arm-band holds the phone well when running, isn't too noticeable, and seems constructed well. With the Otterbox's protective screen cover, the screen can be hard to do finer things but acceptable to hit start or stop buttons or open my tracking app.
The Otterbox's silicone wrap makes it tough to get in and more often than not I slip that part off of the phone and keep the case on it. Than it is easy to slip in. Like the product, exactly what I was looking for.
