Samsung B5722 Dual Sim Unlocked Smartphone with 3 MP Camera, Touch Screen, Bluetooth -- International Version with No U.S. Warranty (Dark Brown) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This unit is not in English!
All the menus are in Polish or Ukrainian including the manuals and software...
Amazon makes no mention of this fact.
The phone can be changed to English - with some difficulty- I had to figure this out by trail and error.... but some features are locked and remain in Polish.
When you reboot the phone it reverts to Polish.
The basic functions work and if you can live with the "language" then the phone is worth it. you get a nice Dual SIM GSM phone for under $200.00
You don' have access to the "Advanced" menu [ password protected] to change features such as call back.
this is a problem if you need to disable this feature for you SIM providers system to work.
if you are using a call back provider like "Roam4Less" stay away from this phone.
Not sure if the other version on Amazon. com;The Samsung B5722 [not GT model] is the English version or can access the advanced menu.

(More customer reviews)Purchasing this phone was a waste of money, if you want a cellphone that supports two active lines at the same time this is not the right choice.

Samsung D980 Duos - Unlocked Dual Sim TriBand Cellular Phone - 5MP Camera, Touchscreen, FM Radio - International Version with No Warranty (Black) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)i'd owned the d880 duos before and while it was a great phone it was difficult to use and required some learning to master it; got this one and unfortunately found myself with an instruction manual in french. but it's been quite easy to use has decent battery life and the spare battery provided with it's own charging and carry compartment make this a fine phone plus it looks and feels great ... touchscreen's very responsive you never need to use the stylus ... all in all .. great phone ... for a great price ... don't regret buying it one bit and allows me to access both my lines simultaneous using the call hold / call waiting feature ... great stuff....

New Unlocked LG GX500 Dual Sim Phone in Black with wi-fi, 3.2MP Camera, MP3 Player, Integrated SNS, and 3 inch WQVGA Display- International version Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got quite fed up of having two phones in my pocket at any given time. One was for personal calls and the other was for business. Anyway the time came where I required a new phone so was weighing my options on whether to get a older android model and stick with two, or get a dual sim. I scoured the net looking for good options and came across the LG GX500. With mostly good reviews and watching a dozen videos on it I decided to take this one.
So far the phone performs stably. The touchscreen, even though resistive, really is not a problem to use. I'm getting faster typing using the full querty and was able to type an entire paragraph without any errors. There is usually a slight delay when switching screens but is very minor. Of course the phone is not intended to be capable of keeping up with the likes of the HTC android beasts. However, it has something that I find more valuable than the fastest or smartest. It has the Dual Sim Standby which works great! Making or receiving calls from either sim is a breeze with better than average reception on either.
Cons:
1. PC Suite is a waste of time. I cannot for the life of me get it working properly and I'm a IT Tech. Always gives problems, and if the phone rings during a large sync....forget about it. You gotta start over.
2. Good Java apps/games are few and far between, but then again you must understand that this is not a smart phone so your options will be limited.
3. Where I live there aren't any area codes before the number. Instead the phone only recognizes the country code. So for the phone to recognize my contacts I would have to manually include the country code on 200 numbers. example instead of 555-5555 I have to go put in the xxx-555-5555. Not much fun.
I only have the phone a couple weeks now so if there are any new developments I will update later.
