(More customer reviews)the ex300ip seem to me to be the alternate solution for the klipsch s4i. I wanted something that sounded as good as the s4i's w a bit more bass and better mic placement. this is the best I could find so far. I think the sound betters the s4i slightly but more importantly the mic is up closer on the chord like the orig earpbuds (except it's on the left not right which is a bit odd).
I would've kept the s4i's if the mic was placed better but people complained too much about the noise and that sometimes I sounded like i was in a tunnel or talking thru a tin can. remote on s4i is better.
I've tried almost everything with 3 button remote. btw.
the sony 38i are also good for a cheaper pair but 300's sound much better
